And just like Mark, I have only been blogging since the end of January 2012, so it’s a massive boost to be recognised by one of my peers in such a short time. Thanks again Mark!
I have really enjoyed my ‘hobby’ so far and it can really get quite addictive! I don’t think I have watched a movie in the same way since, I can’t take my critics head off!
So taking Mark’s lead I am now going to pass this award on to seven other fellow bloggers and follow the rules of being awarded.
Rule #1: Tell everyone something that no one else knows about you.
I have a degree in Geology (rocks and stuff) that I have never put to any good use – yet!

Most Beautiful Piece, I loved The Assassination of Jesses James by the coward Robert Ford and I loved writing my review for it. Such a beautiful, dreamlike film that sticks in the head.
Most Helpful Piece, Senna, a truly brilliant documentary film, helpful as you may have missed it otherwise
Most Popular Piece, my thoughts on my hopes for ‘The Avengers’. You may already have heard of this movie!
Most Controversial Piece, haven’t really had one yet, fingers crossed.
Most Surprisingly Successful Piece, My Top Ten Star Wars Spacecraft, I just did it for fun, reminiscing really, but people seemed to like it.
Most Underrated Piece, My review of ‘The Descendants’ hasn’t done so well as I hoped, but it may have been missed as I had only just started my blog then. Great film.

Most Pride-Worthy Piece, my review of ‘Heat’ was my first attempt at a ‘big’ review. I really wanted to do the film justice, and I think I got it all down. I was proud to be able to right something, what I thought was coherent about a modern epic.
